A washing machine soaks the glue that holds your sneaker together, bends the foam midsole and can shrink or warp knit uppers. Hot drying makes it worse. Sneakers last much longer when they're cleaned by hand, one material at a time.
How we clean sneakers

- Uppers are hand-cleaned with products suited to the material — mesh, knit, canvas or synthetic leather
- Midsoles and outsoles are scrubbed to lift ground-in dirt
- Deodorising treats the inside, where the smell actually lives
- Shoes are dried gently, never baked, to protect the glue and shape

We remove most dirt and stains from white uppers and midsoles. Yellowing caused by age or oxidation can't always be fully reversed, so we'll set honest expectations when we see the pair.
How long does sneaker cleaning take?
