Banarasi & silk saree dry cleaning in Ranchi

Banarasi, Kanjeevaram, Tussar and zari sarees — cleaned with care for colour, borders and zari, hand-finished and returned ready to drape.

Why silk sarees need specialist care

A Banarasi saree is woven silk with metallic zari, often in colours that aren't fully fast. Water and household detergent can make the colours bleed, stiffen the silk, and dull or blacken the zari. Rubbing at a stain can break the weave. That's why silk sarees should be dry cleaned, not washed.

How we clean a Banarasi saree

  • Inspection — we check the silk, zari, borders, pallu and any existing damage, and note stains
  • Colour test — a hidden spot is tested before cleaning
  • Hand spot-treatment for food, oil, makeup, haldi and mehendi stains
  • Dry cleaning with SEITZ solvents suited to silk
  • Hand-finishing — steam-pressed with a pressing cloth to protect the zari

Want the crisp, stiff drape of a new saree? Add our starch & polish finish for ₹99.

How much does Banarasi saree dry cleaning cost in Ranchi?

At SpinWash, ₹249 for a plain saree, ₹349 for heavy and ₹499 for very heavy or bridal sarees.
